Fueling My Passion

It's Your Outcome

I write all things accessibility, career development, diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
As a young adult, I considered numerous career options. I could not put a job title to it at that time, but I knew I wanted to help people. I understood the power of listening to others, even as a child. As an adult, I mastered the art of equipping people with the best information, resources, and support to overcome career challenges. However, I indeed made my share of mistakes that prolonged my ability to live on purpose.
There are two ways of learning, either by listening or by experience. Learn from my mistakes, so you do not have to experience my regrets.
What fuels my passion for investing in others? Recently I received a plaque for providing career coaching and professional resume writing services that supported 500+ transitioning military members, veterans, and spouses in gaining employment with a combined salary of 12M+ within 2.5 years. The plaque is simply a by-product of my passion. For me, there is nothing more rewarding than a person executing a plan of action to live on purpose. I coach others on being proactive rather than reactive and Discovering techniques to overcome challenges, whether foreseen or unforeseen.
Your outcome is your responsibility. Never relinquish your power. Each morning you wake up, are you able to say at least one of the following:
- The career I have is the career I planned to have.
- I know what I need to do to have the career I want.
- I have developed a road map for the job I want, and I have the tools I need to execute my plan
